ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION

Board Policy does not allow school personnel to administer or supervise the taking of medication by children without the necessary forms being completed by the prescribing doctor. Forms are available at the office. For safety reasons, your children should bring no medication to school.

LOST AND FOUND

The Peel Board of Education does not carry insurance covering students' loss of personal items on school property or elsewhere. Parents are encouraged to put names on items such as boots, lunch pails and all clothing. Each term, several hundred dollars worth of items remain unclaimed. If your child is missing an item, it may still be in the Lost and Found Box. You are welcome to come to school and assist your child in the search. Children should not bring jewelry, electronic games, radios or other unnecessary personal possessions to school, the loss or breakage of which would cause personal distress.

SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

Throughout the year a newsletter will go home with your child during the first week of each month. Please anticipate the letter and ask your children for it. It will contain important information regarding the school and our programs. To save costs, we send one notice per family. Where there is more than one child in a family, notices will be sent with the oldest child in each family.
